Meet me at the top of the staircase

Where we can jump into brilliant light

Just this side of paradise

Slake my yearning to fly, hold on tight.

Meet me at the top,

Where God gave me wings
 
Flying in purblind bliss
 
Things that make me soar
 
Your eye, your touch, your kiss.

So meet me atop that staircase
 
What a beautiful day, and wondrous night
 
Heaven's gait, you by my side
 
Could suicide be this right?
